For me, it wasn't just a beautiful day. It was a turning point.
Hi, I'm Karyn Okyere, and I'm the founder of Knock Out Weddings — a boutique wedding planning and coordination company based right here in Dahlonega, GA, serving couples across the North Georgia mountains and beyond.

How This All Started
I didn't start out planning other people's weddings. I started by planning my own.
And honestly? That experience is a big part of why I do this work now.
I went through the entire process — the vendor research, the timeline building, the “wait, what does this contract actually mean?” moments — and came out the other side with a deep respect for how much goes into making a wedding day feel effortless. Because it doesn't happen effortlessly. It happens because someone behind the scenes is holding every detail together so that the couple in front of the camera doesn't have to.
After my wedding, I became an Assistant Wedding Coordinator, working alongside couples through some of the most intimate and meaningful days of their lives. That hands-on experience — learning how a wedding day actually flows, what can go sideways, and how to keep everything moving with calm and intention — became the foundation for everything I do at Knock Out Weddings.
Add to that a Bachelor's degree in Social Work (yes, really — and it matters more than you'd think when you're navigating family dynamics and high-emotion moments on a wedding day), plus 14 years in hospitality — including nine years with the same team — and what you get is a planner who genuinely knows how to work with people, manage logistics under pressure, and create experiences that feel personal!
I became a certified wedding planner because I wanted to make sure I was bringing real expertise to every couple I work with — not just enthusiasm.

You leave with clarity and a clear direction.
🥊 THE SIGNATURE KO — MONTH-OF COORDINATION
Starting at $1,500
You've done the planning. Now you need someone to take the baton and run the final stretch. This package steps in during the final weeks before your wedding to manage your vendors, build your timeline, and be your single point of contact on the wedding day — so you can actually be present.

This is the full journey, together. From your first planning session to the moment you walk down the aisle, I'm with you every step of the way — handling the vendors, the timelines, the logistics, and all the details in between. You focus on being engaged. I'll handle the rest.
